Cricket belonged to my late great uncle Arvid Janzen.  Until she was 8 yrs old he had her with a cutting trainer in Nebraska where she excelled. He decided it was time to retire her from cutting but didn't want her to just sit. So he called us up and asked if we would like to put her on barrels. It was an automatic yes! We took 30 days to get her back in shape and then started lightly patterning her. When it was time to haul her to her first exhibition my mom told me once she could clock in an exhibition then we could enter her. First time out and she ran a 1D time. So we hit the ground running. Unfortunately she sustained an injury to her suspensory tendon and had to be retired not to far into her new career but not before she would make multiple placing in the 1 and 2D as well as qualify for High School State Finals. Which happened to be her last run. We sent her back to Nebraska to start her broodmare career, with the agreement that she would never be sold. When Arvid passed away in 2021 he kept his promise and made sure Cricket came back to live in SD. She has a forever home with us and is NOT FOR SALE! We will offer embryos out of her in the next couple years. Cricket has recently got to give a few riding lessons to some young kids which she loved! 

Indie was one of our first purchased broodmares that we bought Summer of '24. She has a heart of gold and the sweetest most loving personality. I have become VERY attached to her and as a bonus she has produced babies that are running 1D locally! She is NOT FOR SALE but we do plan to pull embryos soon and would sell an embryo! 

Oakley was purchased with Indie in the summer of '24. She is our "boss" mare. The only horse that challenges her is Journey (must be a buckskin thing). She is great to put the young horses and weanlings with to keep them in line! Her dam was owned and ran by Pam Elshere.

Ladybug is our go to for about anything that needs done! She runs consistent 2D times with some 1D placings locally. She has moved cattle and loves to ride out. We also use her for lessons and kids to ride. She has her quirks but her happy place is right next to her people. Just like her mom all you have to do to get her up from pasture is yell her name. You can throw about anything at her and she will do it. She is definitely a people pleaser at heart. Ladybug is NOT FOR SALE. She is expecting her first foal spring of '25! Foal will be available and can be sold in utero upon request.
